Basic Rules for Non-Members Playing at Coventry Bridge Club (CBC)

All events are open to both members and non-members of CBC. Non-members are entitled to any prize money due to them but if they win a trophy their names will not appear on the honours boards.

It is mandatory to be a member of the Warwickshire Contract Bridge Association (WCBA) and the English Bridge Union (EBU) in order to participate in the Coventry Congress, in any WCBA events and the Invitation Pairs.

It is not necessary to be a member of the WCBA or EBU in order to play in any club nights or in any club events listed on the club calendar.

Visitors are entitled to participate in club events and club nights at a charge of £1.00 extra on table money. they are limited to 12 visits over a 12 month period.

Coventry Bridge League (CBL) and WCBA League Matches may be played at the club on the special concessionary rate of £12.

A separate scale of charges operates for members wishing to stage Gold Cup, Crockfords Cup, Hubert Phillips Bowl and NICKO matches.
